New to Artisan Raw and not sure what happens after you order? Here's the practical side of things, straight from the questions we get most.

Your First Order

We pack and ship every order fast — processed within 2 business days, with tracking sent straight to your inbox. Average delivery is about 4 days after your package leaves us, via UPS, Canada Post, or Purolator. Rough transit times by region: BC & Alberta ~2 days, Ontario ~5 days, Eastern provinces and remote areas up to 10 days. Need it sooner? Express shipping is available at checkout.

First time feeding raw or freeze-dried? Some dogs go through a short adjustment period as their body gets used to real food — it's normal, it's not dangerous, and it settles on its own. Storage, Simplified

Unopened, Artisan Raw doesn't need the fridge or the freezer — just a sealed, airtight container in a cool, dry cupboard. Stored that way, it stays fresh for up to two years. Once you've opened a bag, reseal it well and keep it cool and dry — a simple habit, but a good one to stick to, especially once the weather warms up and everything (crumbs, treats, dog food included) gets a little more interesting to the local bug population. If you'd like extra peace of mind, decant it into an airtight container — a Rubbermaid or similar works great, and plenty of our customers just prefer having that solid seal.

Once you've rehydrated a meal, feed it — that's the only step. It's totally fine to leave a rehydrated bowl out for your dog to graze on through the day, just like you would with any fresh food.
